Meduzarts unveils the work they have done for the last WB Games fighting game, Injustice: Gods Among Us. Released earlier this week and already critically acclaimed, the game features our favorite superheroes from the DC Comics universe. With their experience following the work on Mortal Kombat and F.3.A.R. in 2011, the team of Digital Dimension is worked hard on this title for almost a year.
“The project Injustice: Gods Among Us was extremely ambitious. Two hours of cutscenes with a phenomenal amount of characters, thrilling action and massive destruction. Our special relationship with the developer Netherrealm Studios has allowed us to push the envelope of what was possible to accomplish within the technical limitations of the game engine for the current consoles. It was an honor and a pleasure to work with such a famous franchise. “- Says Guy Harvey, Production Director at MEDUZARTS.
The game immerses the player in a totalitarian regime headed by Superman. Following a tragic event that led to the destruction of Metropolis, our superhero establishes a dictatorship to keep the peace. All those who do not meet the new laws are tracked muzzled, or worse. The Justice League is broken and every hero must choose sides. Batman is the only hero still alive to oppose the regime of Superman. War is declared, the titanic battle ahead will affect everyone.
The game is available now on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii U. WB Games is already talk of a game’s release on PC in the near future.
