Following the creation of a number of promotional images for a variety of games and franchises (ASSASSIN’S CREED®, FAR CRY®, WATCH DOGS®.) and their initial cinematic collaboration on Tom Clancy’s RAINBOW SIX® SIEGE, developer Ubisoft approached Meduzarts for the latest chapter in the opus that is its most celebrated franchise, ASSASSIN’S CREED.
ASSASSIN’S CREED SYNDICATE takes place in a thankless and corrupt Victorian London at the height of the Industrial Revolution. Part of the story plays out in our contemporary world however, and it’s on this portion of the game that Méduzarts had the opportunity to work with the Ubisoft Quebec studio.
“From our very first meeting with Meduzarts we knew we had found the right creative group to bring to life our present day narrative thread into fully realized cinematics for our players to enjoy,” comments Jeff Skalski, Senior Ubisoft Producer.

Meduzarts had to create several film sequences for the release of ASSASSIN’S CREED SYNDICATE. “From the very first storyboard to the final deliverable it always felt like we were a team of one working together and passionate to make something great that we could all be proud of,” recalls Jeff Skalski. “Our top priority on this project was to create cinematics that would surprise and delight our Assassin’s Creed fans. I’m happy to say Meduzarts helped us achieve that.”.
